In addition to NCUA’s coverage, your First Trust Credit Union shares (deposits) are also insured by Excess Share Insurance Corporation (ESI). Excess Share Insurance (ESI) provides up to $250,000 of additional protection on member share (deposit) accounts. So you can take comfort in knowing your funds are safe and secure.
If you have any questions concerning First Trust Credit Union’s NCUA or ESI insurance coverage, please contact a credit union representative.
